Rub a Dub Dub

For the last few months, my shower soap of choice has been Dr. Bronner’s.  The ingredient list is easy to understand and it’s incredibly versatile, because I can use it on my face and on my hair, too.  It is strangely and wonderfully liberating to only need one product in the shower!

I guess I have to give credit to the good folks at OHI for convincing me that I don’t want to be putting weird chemicals on my skin.  I used to use Dove bar soap, but what is the first ingredient?  Sodium Lauroyl Isethionate.  Check out the rest on Dove’s site.  Anyway, I feel good about keeping it simple with what goes on my skin.

So, this qualifies as a blog post because for the first time I think I’ve found the perfect soap “flavor” for me.  I like the peppermint one but sometimes it’s a little intense around the eyes.  The lavender variety didn’t have this problem, but I don’t really want to smell like lavender.  The perfect solution?  Almond, people.  It smells delicious -- like almond candy!
